The Gardens have stunning views over St Peter Port. Set in 4 acres, the upper garden is mainly lawned and is surrounded by herbaceous borders. There are many statues adding further interest. Jazz band. £5 admission / children free

Victorian Walled Garden

Explore Guernsey's hidden gem at the uniquely restored Gardens and period glasshouses. Since 2006 volunteers have lovingly reclaimed a derelict site to become a thriving, productive garden growing over 300 Heritage fruit, flower and vegetable plants. Explore the Nectar Bar for pollinators. Join a garden tour and watch craft demos. Learn more about herbs and seed sowing. Revive with refreshments and home-made cakes. Visit 'La Choppe' selling garden produce, plants and locally made arts and crafts. £5 admission / children free

Le Grand Dixcart, Sark

11am - 3pm

The gardens surround an old farmhouse and date from 1565. They are formed into five distinct areas over 2 acres and are cultivated for beauty, wildlife and food. There is a large mandala style permaculture area providing many different vegetables and cutting flowers alongside habitats for wildlife, ponds, lawns, herbaceous borders, two glasshouses, woodland, sculptures and an orchard. Wheelchair access around Sark can be difficult but once you are actually at the gardens there are just grassy slopes and paths. £4 admission / £2 children
